On the 9th of June, 12 people set out to reach Kembagan MRT Station at 9.30 a.m. 10 people made it on time. Two people were late.
Once everyone was gathered, we set off towards East Coast Park via the long and tedious road. Everyone was in high spirits and after a long walk, we finally made it to East Coast Park.
Meeting Aaron at the nearby Burger King, we gathered for a breather, making the people count 13. Then we scooted to the rental shop and rented skates. Joyann's two friends decided to rent bikes instead and went off on their own. They later left during lunch.
Meanwhile, the rest of us went and had a fun time skating. Some had a few problems at first, but after we ended, everyone had at least managed to skate properly without falling too much.
By then, we were all superbly hungry and made for Burger King and had a yummy meal. Rumbling stomachs taken care of, we rested them by going to the arcade and had lots of fun playing the games there like dance revolution and daytona. Well, it wasn't really a rest for the stomachs, but anyway, after an hour or so there, we made way to play some ball games.
But, before that, Aaron briefed everyone about the upcoming youth meeting with will happen next week Saturday, 23 June.
First, we played around with the ball just for the fun of it. Then, after some deliberation, we decided to play captains ball, without the chairs, instead with moving captains. After a few long games, all of us were tired out and none of us could remember the score.
Sitting down to rest, we drank water and on the spur of the moment, decided to play 'Duck, Duck, Goose'. The funniest moment was when Joyann chased Jayne far away from the circle and we were all hooting with rancous laughter. In all, we had lots of fun with it.
Then, because some people needed to leave, we all decided to leave together. It was the long way back again, made even more tiring by all the exercise we had. But, still, everyone had an enjoyable time and I'm sure their baths were made even more relieving and enjoyable because of it.
We'd like to thank God that it didn't rain on that day and that nobody was injured badly as well.
